Single-store Shopify analytics

Understand repeat purchases from your available order history.

Cohortly imports product and order facts from the installed merchant's Shopify store, groups repeat activity into aggregate cohorts, and exports the latest completed analysis as CSV.

Available-history meaning: “First observed” means the earliest customer order present in the imported history. It may not be that customer's lifetime first purchase when earlier Shopify orders are unavailable.

What the app reports

Repeat cohorts

Compare aggregate repeat activity at 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, and 180 days for customers represented in the imported order history.

Product associations

See which products in a customer's first observed imported order are associated with later observed purchases. These are descriptive associations, not predictions or proof of causation.

Aggregate exports

Download CSV output from the latest completed analysis run for further review by the merchant.

How it works

  1. Sync products and orders. Cohortly reads products and the order history available to the app through Shopify's GraphQL Admin API.
  2. Run an analysis. The app builds pseudonymous customer sequences and aggregate cohort, repeat-product, and product-path reports.
  3. Review and export. Merchants inspect aggregate results in Shopify Admin and can export the current completed run.
Product boundaries: Cohortly is an analytics app for one Shopify merchant at a time. It is not a marketplace, sales channel, checkout, payment processor, or buyer-facing service. It does not create or modify orders, products, themes, customers, carts, or checkout.
